A) Information you provide
The current version of WaveApp does not require creating an account.
You may voluntarily provide:
- Support communications (messages you send to support, feedback).
Contract Tracker Data (stored locally):
If you use the contract tracker, you may enter data such as contract start date, duration, monthly salary, overtime inputs, and notes. This contract tracker data is stored on your device only and is not uploaded to our servers in the current version.
B) Information collected automatically
We may collect:
- Device & app information: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, country/region (approximate).
- Usage & diagnostics: interactions with features/screens, in-app events, crash logs, performance data.
- Identifiers for analytics/attribution/ads: device identifiers and/or advertising identifiers (depending on your device settings and applicable law).
3) How We Use Information
- Operate the Service (feed, currency tools, catalogue).
- Improve and maintain the Service (analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring).
- Security and abuse prevention.
- Advertising and attribution (if ads are shown; to measure marketing performance).
- Support (respond to your requests).
4) AI Features
WaveApp uses AI to generate or enhance certain informational content (for example, summaries/analytics). We aim to minimize the data used for AI features and use it only to provide the requested functionality.
Note: Contract tracker data is local-only and is not used by us for AI processing in the current version.
5) Advertising, Analytics, and Attribution
WaveApp may use third-party services such as:
- Firebase (analytics/crash reporting/infrastructure)
- AppsFlyer (attribution/marketing measurement)
- Mixpanel (product analytics)
These providers may process device and usage data under their own privacy policies and under agreements with us. Where available, you can limit ad tracking and reset advertising identifiers in your device settings.
6) How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited information with:
- Service providers (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, support tooling) to operate and improve the Service.
- Advertising/attribution partners (where enabled) to measure campaigns, prevent fraud, and show ads.
- Legal/safety if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers (merger/acquisition/asset sale) with appropriate safeguards.
7) International Processing
Your data may be processed in Ukraine and other countries where we or our providers operate (e.g., cloud regions). We take steps designed to protect data in transfers.
8) Data Retention
- Device/usage/diagnostic data: retained as needed for the purposes in this Policy (and per vendor retention settings where applicable).
- Support communications: retained as needed to handle your request and maintain records.
- Contract tracker data: retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information (access controls, encryption in transit where applicable, least-privilege access). No system is 100% secure.
10) Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by contacting support@waveapp.me.
You can also disable certain analytics/ads controls in device settings (where available) and uninstall the app to remove local data (including contract tracker data).
11) Children
WaveApp is not intended for children under 13 (or higher age if required by law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12) Third-Party Links
The Service may reference third-party sources or listings. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the “Effective Date”. If we introduce accounts or cloud sync in the future, we will update this Policy before/when those features are enabled.
