1) The Service
WaveApp provides an AI-assisted maritime news/analytics feed, currency rates and conversion tools, a contract tracker for time/earnings calculations, and a catalogue/directory of maritime services.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by law) to use the Service.
3) No Accounts (current version)
The current version of WaveApp does not require an account. If we introduce accounts in the future, we will update these Terms and may require you to accept updated Terms to continue using certain features.
4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate any law or regulation,
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights,
- attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, or bypass security of the Service,
- introduce malware or harmful code,
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
5) Contract Tracker Disclaimer (Local Tool)
The contract tracker provides calculations based solely on your inputs (e.g., dates, contract duration, salary, overtime inputs). Results are estimates for convenience and are not payroll, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
6) Content Disclaimer (News/AI)
Feed content (including AI-generated summaries/analytics) is provided for informational purposes only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should verify important information independently and not rely on the Service as the sole basis for critical decisions (financial, legal, medical, or safety-related).
7) Advertising
WaveApp may display native advertisements. Ads are provided by third parties and may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party products/services advertised.
8) Intellectual Property
WaveApp, including its software, design, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with our permission.
9) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, users, or comply with law.
10) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits/data; and (b) our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to EUR 50, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
12) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
